Lawn renovations!

Finally! It’s cooled off! The weather is beautiful again and its time to get your lawn back into shape. We can provide custom lawn renovations from entire lawn kill and start over to a simple aeration. Our most common process of lawn renovation includes aerating, double verticut, seed, and fertilizer. Some lawns with excessive thatch require more attention with raking the lawn after the double verticut. Renovations are what we specialize in all fall. If you would like a quote feel free to call or email! We can usually get you worked in within a couple of days and if you have irrigation we will mark the heads and set your irrigation clock on a custom schedule for the best results in seed germination for no extra charge.

Heat Stress

Well, I’m sure we are all seeing it or going to see it. This heat is taking a toll on our grasses and many of you will be seeing damaged turf from it. If you have an irrigation system, make sure it is functional. If you do not, try breaking out the hose and helping your lawn and landscape out a little. This entire week of heat around the 100 mark is going to be a killer. I have found an interesting article I received from K-State on the different grasses to plant in the area, which will be good for when it comes time to aerate, seed, verticut, and fertilize this fall.
